Who is Jeff Daniels???

As a big fan of movie, you may know Jeff Daniels the marvelous actor, who had shown in “Ragtime” or “The Fifth of July” or “Terms of Endearment” or Woody Allen’s great “The Purple Rose of Cairo” or “Gettysburg” or “Johnny Got His Gun” or “Yellow Sky” or “Something Wild” or “Fly Away Home” or “Good Night, and Good Luck” or “The Squid and the Whale” or any of 60 or so other movies.

你是否有聽過一部電影叫做「返家十萬里」? 還有「１０１真狗」、「歡樂谷」、「呆瓜情人」、「休旅任務RV」以及「晚安，祝你好運」等，在這些膾炙人口的影片中，都可以看見老牌性感演員Jeff Daniels的身影穿梭其中。
是的，說到Jeff Daniels，大家的第一個印象幾乎是「喔！那個演員啊！」

However, seldom people know that Jeff Daniels actually wrote plays.

Isn’t it cool? The sexy brilliant Jeff Daniels on the big screen is a playwright!

He has written nine plays for the Purple Rose, including Shoe Man, The Tropical Pickle, Thy Kingdom's Coming, Across the Way (a 2002 finalist for the American Theatre Critics Association National Award for Best New Play), Norma & Wanda, The Vast Difference, Escanaba in da Moonlight, Apartment 3A and Boom Town, the last four of which are published by Dramatists Play Service.

As it mentioned before, Jeff Daniels had written several plays. And one of those plays, a serious, soul-lifting comedy called “Apartment 3A,” was once at the Arclight Theater on West 71st Street through February 11.

一夜情的對象是你的Mr. Right嗎? 還是你發現他其實是一個超級大爛咖?
趕快將你的故事寫下來跟我們分享，就有機會得到膛口劇團7月新戲Apartment 3A的票唷!!


Did you ever imagine or actually have the experience of “one night stand”?
Did you find your Mr./Miss Right through one night stand?
Or you found out “Oops! I am just not that into him/her.”

We want your story!
It could be HOT / CRAZY/ SAD / RIDICULOUS…

活動辦法如下：

◆主題: 一夜情
Topic: One Night Stand

◆投稿資格：不限年齡性別，署名可以用假名。
No limitation for authors’ age and gender.
You may provide your pseudonym instead of your real name.

◆文章格式：中英文稿件皆可，字數不限；故事需與主題相關，內容不限真實或是杜撰。
Both Chinese and English essays are acceptable. No word limits.
The story could be either real or imaginary, but must relate to “one night stand.”

我們收到你的故事後會回信給你確認，
如果於3日內沒有收到回覆請再次來信確認，
以免因為漏信而影響了你的權益。

走走--走走走---3A走位練習開拍！

5.7開始第一次的走位練習，Betty這個房東讓我見識到什麼叫做”睜眼說瞎話”，她可以把貧民窟說成高級公寓，把黑的說成白的，把死的說成活的，把烏龜說成長頸鹿！終於把破屋脫手了，你看房東Betty(Patty)笑得多麼燦爛呀！

 
最讓我印象深刻的是有些人的突然”起笑”！Donald(Brandon)猛然的抓住Annie(嫚書)，惹得全場尖叫，幸虧沒引來鄰居報警！
還有Annie(嫚書)狗急跳牆被Elliot(承佑)搞的大爆走，還爆出中文來：”為什麼不給我~~啊啊啊啊~~~~~”
這些突發事件實在是太刺激了！哈哈哈哈！
我愛即興，即興嚇我，對我來說，即興是最真實的戲劇！ (請用唱的)

                看到了嗎？Annie的眉頭已經有爆走的徵兆了！Elliot快逃啊~~~~~~！
